Nicolas Lefebvre
The catalyst for medical innovation
President & CEO
A biomedical engineer by training, and a committed entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, Nicolas co-founded AdEchoTech with his father. He has managed the company for over ten years, and has successfully tackled the many challenges involved in bringing an innovative medical solution to market. To achieve this, he has surrounded himself with a team of experts in various fields.
The story of an innovation designed to give access to healthcare
It all started with an alarming observation: 20 million patients in France and 50 million in the United States live in medical deserts with little or no access to specialists. This realisation was the start of our idea.
2008
Dr Eric Lefebvre, a renowned specialist ultrasound doctor, founds AdEchoTech. The MELODY project is developed with the support of the CNES (the National Centre for Space Studies), the ESA (European Space Agency).
2015
Launch of the first clinical tests of MELODY with several university hospitals, to demonstrate the reliability of remote robotic ultrasound.
2020
European and North American medical certifications for safe marketing are granted (CE MDR marking, FDA, MDSAP).
Today
MELODY is used in France, Canada, the USA, the UK, and Spain, with a growing uptake in hospitals, prisons, and health centres.
And tomorrow....
AdEchoTech continues to innovate to strengthen its position as a global player in tele-ultrasound and to combat medical deserts by facilitating access to care in a sustainable way. R&D remains part of our DNA.
Our vision
With AdEchoTech, distance is no longer a barrier to quick, reliable medical diagnoses. Every patient deserves immediate access to precision ultrasound, wherever they are.
Notre engagement
- To innovate continuously to guarantee the best possible image quality and real-time remote control
- To support healthcare professionals in overcoming technological and organisational barriers
- To make a real impact on reducing healthcare costs and optimising medical resources
